Productivity notes
Short reads for steadier weeks.
Five practical notes you can read in a few minutes and apply the same day.
A manageable week begins with realistic expectations, not a longer to-do list. Start by opening your calendar and writing down the fixed commitments: appointments, deadlines, meetings, school or family obligations. These are the walls of your week.
Next, choose three priorities. Only three. Ask yourself, "If these three things get done, will the week have been a success?" Anything beyond them is a bonus.
Then give each priority a time. Place it on a specific day and a specific window, even if it is just 45 minutes. A task with a time is far more likely to happen than a task with only an intention.
Finally, leave open space. Plan to use about two thirds of your available time and let the rest absorb surprises. A week with room in it bends instead of breaking.
